Our Mission Statement.
Every individual has the right to feel safe, loved and cherished. Childhood should not be painful that a person will spend the rest of their lives trying to get beyond the trauma. It is a time for building positive self-esteem, confidence and learning how to become a healthy, well-adjusted adult.
Mary Welsh House shall provide mental health counseling, medical and psychiatric services to children, adolescents and adults who have been severely sexually and physically abused. We will help children to assimilate into a therapeutic foster care home, and adults to find peace peace with their past. Broken children lead broken lives and broken adults have painful futures. Mary Welsh Foundation will work to mend the minds and lives of these traumatized individuals. Mary Welsh Foundation will work to break the cycle of abuse through therapeutic intervention and education thus allowing individuals who suffered trauma and to embrace the shift towards body, mind, and spirit for reaching upward and outward in the journey to become whole once again.
